Order Process
To ensure you will have the best experience, we have developed the following process.
Before Ordering:
- Browse the Gorilla Shed Costco Next site and reach out to us if you have any questions.
- Gorilla Shed offers a free phone or email consultation on the website. It is recommended to speak with a Gorilla Shed consultant prior to purchase of a Costco NEXT Gorilla Shed.
- Check into any permit requirements. Members are advised to check with their local building department before ordering to determine zoning and required permits. Permitting the Gorilla Shed and compliance with all applicable local building codes is the responsibility of the member. Homeowners Association (HOA) approvals for the project also are the responsibility of the member.
After Payment:
- Once the order is placed, Gorilla Shed will contact the member within 1-3 business days to discuss and schedule the installation.
- You will need to provide information regarding site conditions. Site level to within 6 inches across the footprint of the building. Access to electricity within 150 feet and 3 feet of clearance around the shed are required for proper installation.
- Production/delivery dates are provided after confirmation of site conditions and permit needs. Installation lead times are typically 3-6 weeks after payment and coordinated with the local installer’s availability. Permitting and other factors may delay estimated lead times for installation.
Shipping and Installation:
- One week prior to installation date, Gorilla Shed will email you regarding your upcoming installation and what to expect during the installation. Read more about the process here.
- Installation will typically take 1-2 days. Larger units may take additional time.
After Installation:
At end of the build, if Member is home, installer coordinates a walkthrough with the Member for inspection and satisfaction of the shed and build.
