Warranty

Gorilla Shed warrants the following: 

  • Every shed is warranted from defects in workmanship and manufacturing for 1 year. 
  • All accessories, hardware and metal components are warranted for 2 years. 
  • All Oriented Strand Board (OSB) is warranted for 2 years 
  • Siding and trim are warranted for 15 years. 
     

The warranty is effective only when: 

  • The failure occurs when the unit is owned by the original purchaser. 
  • Gorilla Shed had reasonable opportunity during the sixty days following receipt of notification to inspect and verify the failure before any repair work began. 
     

Requirements 

To validate your warranty, it is necessary to paint your shed using 100% acrylic latex exterior paint with a minimum of two coats within thirty (30) days of installation. As a Costco Member Exclusive, Gorilla Shed will caulk all critical joints. All additional caulking is the homeowner’s responsibility. You should caulk any seams, gaps, horizontal and vertical joints. 

Member should keep the perimeter and underside of the shed clear of vegetation. 

Movement of the shed from its original location or alteration may void warranty. Damage due to insects, water sprinklers or acts of God (including tornadoes, hailstorms, fire, etc.) are not covered. 

In no event will Gorilla Shed be liable for loss or damage to personal property placed in building (including any damage caused by the existence of any defect in building), or for any indirect, incidental, consequential damages nor failure(s) which are caused by events, acts or omissions beyond our control including, but not limited to, misuse or improper maintenance. This warranty gives you certain specific rights which vary from state to state.

  1. The model and size of the product.
  2. A list of the part(s) for which the claim is made.
  3. Proof of purchase as shown on the original invoice or receipt.
  4. If possible, please include photographs to help expedite the review process
